The Nature of the Warrior Group

According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who enjoy a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where diplomatic options are few and far between.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might appear out of place, but the actions of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to go next after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing initiated the story’s plot—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, invading the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

Casimir then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in the northern region, beyond the urban center, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each member has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the companion and best friend, desires revenge.
  • The adventurer knows the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile location.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his house’s orders to kill the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their position as prominent individuals in the influential clan could assist the party enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now follow him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The character are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the family.

This results in them no alternative but to travel to the northern region in search of Casimir.
